Vacancy for Administrator 20hrs per week

24th April 2017

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank is looking for a self-motivated, well organised and friendly-natured person to be our Administrator.  The ideal candidate will have a pleasant telephone manner; have office experience and excellent IT skills.  A ‘can do’ attitude is essential, and it’d be ideal to have had experience of working with vulnerable people and Volunteers too.  We hope to find a team player who has a heart for the work of foodbank, in relieving poverty, and who has the willingness to go the extra mile to make a difference in people’s lives.

The role will be based at The Foodbank Office at Hanley Community Fire Station and at our Warehouse in Blurton.

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank provides three-day emergency food parcels for people in crisis and works in partnership with churches across the city as well as a variety of voluntary and statutory providers to ensure beneficiaries are supported during their crisis period.  More information can be found on our website:  www.stokeontrent.foodbank.org.uk  and by liking us on Facebook.

Stoke-on-Trent foodbank is a charity founded on Christian principles. Not every member of the wider team involved in the project is a Christian, but we all subscribe to the same values (included in the job description document) and new team members will be expected to act in accordance with these.
