Job Vacancy: Warehouse Assistant

Hours: 25 hours per week. Some flexibility essential, with very occasional weekend working.

Salary: £7.85 per hour

Fixed term contract until February 2016 (subject to funding)

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank is looking for an organised and friendly Warehouse Assistant who is able to collate stock orders, move and handle heavy crates and boxes and drive a transit van.

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank provides three-day emergency food parcels for people in crisis and works in partnership with churches across the city as well as a variety of voluntary and statutory providers to ensure beneficiaries are supported during their crisis period.

The role will be based at our Main Warehouse in Blurton, with frequent requirement to travel around the City.

Stoke-on-Trent foodbank is a charity founded on Christian principles. Not every member of the wider team involved in the project is a Christian, but we all subscribe to the same values and hope that new team members will too.
