Job Vacancy: Van Driver and Warehouse Support Worker

Hours: 24 hours per month

Salary: £7.85 per hour

Fixed Term contract for 6 months (subject to funding)

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank is looking for a pleasant and friendly van driver who is able to move and handle heavy crates and boxes.

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank provides three-day emergency food parcels for people in crisis and works in partnership with churches across the city as well as a variety of voluntary and statutory providers to ensure beneficiaries are supported during their crisis period.

The successful candidate must have a clean driving licence and be able to have a flexible approach to managing the hours of work across the month according to requirements.

The role will be based at Wesley Hall, Noblett Road with constant requirement to travel city-wide and occasionally further afield.

Stoke-on-Trent foodbank is a charity founded on Christian principles. Not every member of the wider team involved in the project is a Christian, but we all subscribe to the same values (included in the job description document) and hope that new team members will too.
