Job Vacancy: Finance Officer

Hours: 7 hours per week

Salary: 16,000 per year, pro rata 

Fixed Term contract for 6 months (subject to funding) 

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank is looking for a skilled and efficient Finance Officer to provide finance administration. The successful post holder will be working supportively alongside our Treasurer. S-o-T Foodbank has received funding from the Big Lottery to enable this part-time post.

Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank provides three-day emergency food parcels for people in crisis and works in partnership with churches across the city as well as a variety of voluntary and statutory providers to ensure beneficiaries are supported during their crisis period.

The successful candidate must have relevant experience in finance administration and be able to evidence how they meet all the essential requirements in the person specification for the role.

The role will be based at Wesley Hall, Noblett Road with occasional travel required city-wide to the distribution centres and other venues.

Stoke-on-Trent foodbank is a charity founded on Christian principles. Not every member of the wider team involved in the project is a Christian, but we all subscribe to the same values (included in the job description document) and hope that new team members will too.
